In some
rare occasions the SIM does not start because of Reboot pending....
It looks like the
workaround option did its job by now, check the exact steps:
Create the following SIM registry Keys to ignore a pending reboot:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Altiris\Aim\IgnorPendingReboot
Create a DWord(32) value called “Enable”
Enable = 1 Ignores pending reboot
Enable = 0 Checks for reboot
Create the following SIM registry Keys to ignore a pending reboot:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Altiris\Aim\IgnorPendingReboot
Create a DWord(32) value called “Enable”
Enable = 1 Ignores pending reboot
Enable = 0 Checks for reboot
